IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CLASSROOM
by Lori Peck

Trident is committed to improving our students’ experience in the classroom. And now our My TLC Courses classroom is getting a facelift!

In the next few months, our students will notice a new look and feel. There are new fonts, updated icons, and a cleaner interface. Built with a responsive design, adapting to different screen sizes, the classroom looks great on laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

We are making it easier to stay connected and access your courses from anywhere.

Although our common course activities aren’t changing, there are some positive changes when our students first dive in. These courses are designed to get you right to the content that you are interested in.

We’re excited for this change and the improvements that our students will get to experience in My TLC Courses.

Academic Spotlight

Trident’s focus is on student success. We rely on our two pillars: ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE in terms of programs, resources, faculty, and staff, and COMPASSIONATE COMMITMENT to deliver an outstanding student experience. This, along with our EdActive Learning Approach, is what sets Trident University apart.

We cultivate an online community of achievers through life-centered learning that promotes a higher level of thinking through active engagement within our educational experience. This has led to a consistent record of success with our students’ matriculation. The Trident learning model is effective because we’re constantly engaged with our students.

We have a solid foundation under which our pillars are built. The Academic Excellence pillar is underpinned by a unique pedagogy, a talented and enduring faculty (more 70% of whom hold doctoral degrees), compelling, relevant and challenging curriculum with the highest standards. Our Compassionate Commitment pillar is girded by a foundation of faculty and administrative responsiveness, a culture of respectful treatment for everyone, team effort and individualized support that helps and inspires our students to learn and to grow.

Corporate & Career Learning Center

CORPORATE ADVANCEMENT GRANT (CAG)
by Esmeralda Silva

In 2018 Trident University International’s Corporate and Career Learning Center (CCLC) launched the Corporate Advancement Grant (CAG) for Elite Partners. What differentiates Trident's CAG program is that it utilizes an organization’s current Tuition Reimbursement policy and promotes student academic success. The CAG grant would supplement a substantial savings for academically successful students on an annualized basis.

Bottom line - The cost to the student is minimal to none to seek his/her undergraduate or graduate degree.

Trident is proud to announce we have signed our first CAG agreements in record time and our Elite partners are benefiting from this program.

If your organization is interested in developing employees while improving the bottom line, Trident University’s new Corporate Advancement Grant may be a great fit. To learn more about this and other programs please contact CCLC@trident.edu.
