The current political season is unlike any in history. It’s important to remember that we have the right to vote because of the brave sacrifices made by so many American families. We honor those that came before by intelligently participating in this process.
It is also a season to reflect on the many things that we are grateful for. My gratitude list has certainly grown over the last year. Beyond the many things in my personal life to be grateful for, the last year has brought wonderful improvements to Trident that are resulting in higher student success rates and improved satisfaction.
We still have a lot of opportunity to improve, but I am grateful to our dedicated faculty and staff that have worked tirelessly to make Trident better for our students. I am grateful for each of you and the sacrifices that you make to achieve your educational goals, while supporting your family, defending our country, and making our communities stronger. The best part of my day is reading news of your many successes. You remind me of what it means to be Trident Strong.
Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving from all the Trident Faculty and Staff!
Trident University’s commitment to educate the men and women who serve or have served in the US Armed Services goes beyond the classroom. The Trident Military Assistance Center (TMAC) was created in June 2015 and has since offered multiple resources to support Trident’s military-affiliated student populations.
TMAC MISSION: To lead post-secondary educational achievement of military, veterans and those military-affiliated student populations through mentorship and professional development.
TMAC VISION: To become a model of excellence by providing best in class access to post-secondary education and true advocacy on the part of the military-affiliated and traditionally under-served student populations.
Ms. Esmeralda Silva, Vice President of Strategic Alliance and Outreach Services is pleased to announce that our Trident Military Assistance Center will be honoring our fallen students and alumni. Beginning November 2016 Trident University will create, “The Silver Taps Memorial Wall.”
With Respect and gratitude, The Silver Taps Memorial Wall is our tribute to our fallen students and alumni who served in our US Armed Services.
They are not forgotten
When someone is remembered after their decease they continue to live on
Trident’s fallen will forever be a part of the Trident family
In your honor; we are forever indebted
