“Our students tend to have a full-time job in addition to their classes, so they rely on their smartphones for communication and accessing TLC,” said Vahid Shariat, Trident’s Chief Information Officer. “This update gives students increased options and the ability to quickly access the most important Trident services. We will be adding new features every quarter to enhance the student and faculty experience while using TLC.”

Trident's Center for Career Planning and Workforce Strategies will present its next webinar on Wednesday, June 28th at 11:30 am PT. The presenter will be Jonathan Raymond, CEO of Refound and author of Good Authority: How to Become the Leader Your Team is Waiting For, which has been called a 'modern classic' by Seth Godin.
Raymond will take the concepts in his book and show you how to correctly apply them to your day-to-day professional life. Be ready for an active and engaging discussion on managing up and down, how and when to deliver feedback, positive communication techniques, and more. Raymond will be available to answer your questions at the end of the webinar.
Your Alumni Association hosted events in both Austin, TX and Norfolk, VA in the month of May, and had a great time celebrating grads and giving back.
On May 25th, we welcomed 10 Graduates into our association while attending the Hampton Roads military graduation ceremony in Norfolk, VA. Before the ceremony, we gathered together for a celebratory luncheon. They were a great group and we are extremely proud of their accomplishments!
On May 26th, we came together for a community outreach event at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Austin, TX. Due to Trident staff, faculty and alumni support, we were able to prepare and distribute nearly 500 hygiene & snack bags for Veteran’s in need. It was a great way to kick of Memorial Day weekend and give back to a community where so many of our students and alumni reside.
Stay tuned for more events in your community. Should you have any recommendations, reach out to alumni@trident.edu.
